Are you an Experienced Project Manager looking for a new challenge within an essential public sector body?

ASA Recruitment are working with one of Scotland’s largest public authorities to recruit a Project Manager to join their Transport Services team for an initial 3 month assignment in the Glasgow area.

The Project Manager Role:

• Lead a team of passionate and highly motivated individuals to identify key transport and movement problems that need to be tackled in the city and present findings to a range of key stakeholders
• Develop a transport engagement approach for key stakeholders in the city centre
• Create a detailed project plan for key changes to transport services in the city by working with user researchers and a dedicated PSO to process gathered data from a numerous key sources.
• Ensure that the IT operation is managed, co-ordinated and that the service is communicated to meet the needs of both clients and staff

Successful candidates for Project manager post will need:

• A recent role/background in transport policy or a related policy area
• A minimum of five years demonstrable experience in a relevant field to the post such as urban planning/design, traffic management or transport planning
• Must be credible with stakeholders (both internal and external,) creating conditions to a organise a confident and efficient project team
• Be a strong influencer who is able to communicate with a range of individuals including external agencies
