Are you an IT Service Manager looking for a new challenge within an essential public sector body?

ASA Recruitment are working with a large scale Education orientated client in the public sector to source an experienced and highly capable Service Manager, based in Scotland’s Central belt.

The Service Manager Role:

• You will work to continually improve IT services delivery and vital processes throughout a large scale Government programme
• Work as part of a new and growing team of passionate and highly motivated individuals supporting the successful development and implementation of new procedures and in turn assure they are adhered to
• Ensure that the IT operation is managed, co-ordinated and that the service is communicated to meet the needs of both clients and staff
• Ensure that operational procedures and working practices are fit for purpose

Successful candidates for Project manager post will need:

• To demonstrate a proven track record of delivering impressive results with a challenging IT environment.
• Must be credible with stakeholders (both internal and external,) creating conditions to a build confident and efficient service
• Extensive experience of tracking, monitoring and reporting IT budgets and forecasts
• Be a strong influencer who is able to communicate with a range of individuals including external agencies
• Be able to respond positively to changing and emerging requirements and be able to offer to support their team in doing the same
