Care Assistant

Description

We currently have an opportunity for Care Assistants to join our team to support our client in Inverurie. This will give you the opportunity to work ongoing in a Local Authority care home with the possibility of a block booking through to early 2024 and temp to perm opportunities. Shifts would either be working 0700-1430, 1430-2200 or 2200-0700.

Responsibilities Include;

• Carrying out personal care including washing, dressing and showering
• Providing physical and emotional support to residents and their families
• Manual handling and safe use of all equipment
• Encouraging participation in activities and group events
• Accurate communication with other care staff
• Support at mealtimes

Requirements;

Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months relevant UK work experience in a healthcare role. A PVG for adults is required for this role, if PVG is already held an update will be required or a brand new application for new members prior to employment. SSSC registration is required within 6 months of employment with ASA. You must be honest and reliable for this position and be able to provide two references for previous work experience.
