ASA have opportunities available and are looking for candidates in the Inverurie area of Aberdeenshire who are passionate about improving the lives of people in need of care and support. Shifts available are between 2 and 2.5 hours long so would suit someone in the immediate area looking to keep busy.

We can offer competitive rates of pay from £11.50 to £11.75 per hour and the chance to instantly build up holiday pay. Our consultants are on hand 7 days a week to support you and have an accessible out of hour’s service should you need to contact us out with office hours or at weekends. You can manage your own availability on our online portal making the role flexible around your other commitments and allowing you to have your desired work life balance.

As a Support Worker you will;
· Support with day to day tasks such as washing, dressing, personal hygiene and meals
· Assist the /service user in the community and recreational activities
· Build strong, trusting relationships with the residents and their families
· Provide companionship and emotional support for the individual(s)
· Be organised with the confidence to work alone offering 1-1 support
· Have strong communication skills

Requirements for the role;
· PVG certificate or be willingness to obtain one
· 6 months UK based work experience
· Ability to provide 2 references for your past work experience
· Available to travel to work in Inverurie
· SVQ 2 or 3 in Social Care (desired)
· Experience with epilepsy (desired)
