Are you an experienced and Finance professional looking for a new contract opportunity?

ASA Recruitment are looking to recruit a Credit Controller for our public sector client, to join their team as soon as possible in the Scottish Central belt. This is initially an interim assignment.

A Credit controllers Main duties:

  • Manage debts of existing clients and service users and adjudicate incoming credit requests
  • Timely and effective collection of customer debts to the clients tight and busy schedule
  • Take on and resolve incoming disputes and customer queries via the phone and email
  • Produce and analyse regular aged debtor reports
  • Assist in the preparation of returns when required

Requirements for the post:

  • At least 3 year’s experience in a similar finance role.
  • Working knowledge of financial ledger systems and Excel
  • Strong customer service skills that would allow you to deal with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong analytic and reconciliation skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and work on own initiative, identify key issues and deliver a range of tasks within strict deadlines.
