We have a wide range of clients meaning we can offer our candidate diverse and varied working experiences. Working with ASA is extremely flexible – with access to your own work diary you decide when you are available for work with no minimum weekly commitments. Shifts are available across Aberdeen, including city centre, Bucksburn, Northfield, Cults, Balmedie, Mannofield and more. In this position we can offer £9.90-£11.50 per hour, paid weekly.

The Support Worker role involves;

• Having a key focus on supporting the individual(s) in leading an independent life
• Encouraging participation in day to day household tasks
• Physical support with daily activities
• Accompanying those you are supporting to activities, appointments and days our
• Building safe and trusting relationships with the residents and their families
• Having a positive impact on the wellbeing of service users

You should have at least 6 months experience working in the UK and be able to provide 2 references for your previous work. SVQ 2 or 3 in Social Care is beneficial along with experience surrounding epilepsy to open up most shift opportunities, however not essential. If you are successful in the position you must apply for a PVG update or new PVG if not already held. SSSC membership must be obtained within 6 months of working in the role.
