ASA are currently seeking a dedicated Social Care Worker to work within a Domestic and Sexual Abuse Team in the public sector for a minimum of three months. This rewarding role will enable the successful Social Care Worker to provide support, advice, advocacy and information to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.
Using your brilliant communications skills, you will forge and build upon established relationships with the Criminal Justice, Police, Social Work and voluntary sectors. This will act as an essential component to planning, monitoring and coordinating services for women and children who have experienced domestic abuse.
You will work closely within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure a holistic support package, individualised to each family is formed alongside thorough care plans. In conjunction with the implementation of care plans, the successful Social Care Worker will continually undertake efficient risk assessments in order to ensure the safety of themselves and the women and children who they are working with.
In order to be considered for the role of a Domestic and Sexual Abuse team Social Care Worker, you must:
* Have a driver's licence
* Have an up-to-date PVG
* Have a good knowledge of Child Protection Policies
* Be available ASAP for the next three months
