ASA are currently recruiting for support workers experienced in working with homelessness, addictions and mental health for work in the Glasgow area.
We provide support to a number of organisations in Glasgow and have work available across the city in both temporary and supported housing and supported living settings.
Work could involve supporting someone with mental health to live in their own home within their own community, it could be supporting young people in their first tenancy and making sure that they have the skills they need to maintain it or could be supporting adults leaving the criminal justice system or facing addiction in supported, temporary accommodation to help them gain the skills they need for the next step in their journey.
No matter the setting that you are in, successful candidates will have to be open minded, non-judgemental and be fully committed to delivering support that can make a real impact in the lives of the people that you are working with.
Previous experience in delivering support to these service user groups is essential.
ASA can offer regular, ongoing work with weekly pay and holiday pay when you are off. We have lots of support work available across the city in a variety of settings and can offer you work which will both match and add to the experience you have already gained. Working with ASA offers total flexibility around your current commitments, so whatever your schedule, we can find a service that fits.
