Vehicle Inspector

Description

Are you an experienced HGV Inspector/MOT tester, who takes pride in ensuring that you carry out your role to the highest safety standards? Are you trained to carry out MOT tests to class 4, 5, and 7? If so, then ASA Recruitment would like to speak to you about an exciting opportunity which has arisen within the Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance Department of one of our public sector clients.

Initially scheduled to last six months – with a high probability of extension for the right candidate – and based in the Greater Glasgow area, this HGV Inspector/MOT tester role requires a proactively minded individual who is confident working alone to ensure the safe operation of all vehicles in the fleet.

DUTIES

· To inspect all vehicles to ensure that they meet current industry safety standards
· To liaise with internal departments to ensure accurate reporting and resolution of any faults or malfunctions
· To recommend and oversee class 4, 5, and 7 vehicle MOT tests
· Record and maintain accurate record of any vehicle in which a fault is found.
