Are you an experienced User Researcher looking to start an exciting new contract in Edinburgh?

ASA’s public sector client is looking for two User Researcher’s for a 6 month contract to work in a multi-disciplinary team who are responsible for planning and carrying out a wide range of user research activities.

Responsibilities:
· Plan and carry out user research activities to get a deep understanding of the people that use specific services
· Undertake rigorous data analyses using appropriate analytical tools and approaches
· Ensure a culture of continuous delivery and improvement, ensuring that key tools, methods and processes are regularly reviewed, maintained and improved
· Explain and be a persuasive advocate for, the value of user/design research within service design and delivery teams
Requirements:
· Experience of designing and undertaking user research projects for digital service design
· Ability to choose appropriate methods for different design life cycle phases and situations
· Demonstrable ability to deliver actionable user insights and experience
· Ability to develop successful, strategic relationships with stakeholders
· Experience of working with service designers and digital systems developers to critique and develop design thinking based on evidence of user needs
· Experience of facilitating collaborative sense making and/or co-design sessions
· A Basic Disclosure certificate
