User Experience Researcher

Description

Are you a User Experience Researcher looking for your next contract opportunity in Edinburgh? If you would enjoy working in an environment that brings together technology enhanced learning, digital skills training and classroom technology teams to support learning then this could be the right role for you. This 3 month post in Edinburgh would allow you to use your skills as a User Experience Researcher to play a critical role in the prioritisation and execution of subsequent design and development work.

To be considered for this User Experience Researcher role you must poses the following:

· You are able to creatively shape methodologies and work across a range UX research methods and tools
· Research skills; you should have extensive experience of interviewing and contextual enquiry, of designing, executing and observing user research, with an understanding of active listening
· Expert, competitor and comparator reviews including analytical reviews and evaluations;
· Customer journey and persona development
· Information architecture-related research, including card sorting, affinity diagramming and content auditing
· Concept sketching, wire framing and an understanding of interaction design; able to use basic design tools to support sketching and early design prototyping
