Technical Security Architect

Description

We are looking for a Technical Security Architect to work with a large public sector organisation as part of a multidisciplinary team in Edinburgh for an initial 6 month contract.

Responsibilities:

· Design an Identity and Access Management/Zero Trust (IAM/ZT) architectural pattern/approach
· Contribute to the options appraisal of IAM/ZT products
· Contribute to the analysis of existing services – infrastructure and data
· Contribute to identifying a prioritised catalogue of SG services for rollout of the IAM/ZT service
· Contribute to an outline delivery plan for an IAM/ZT product(s)
· Contribute to the Business Case for the procurement of a solution including an assessment of the costs

Requirements:

· Subject-matter expertise across IAM and zero trust as it relates to both cloud and on-premises enterprise technology, and the relationship between the architectures
· Experience in creating, maintaining and aligning with an organisations Information Security policies and standards with industry best practices and business needs in the adoption of cloud services and technologies
· Experience of delivering technical security configuration architecture design documents for a zero trust implementation of IAM
· Experience of complex data hosting environments impacted by geography and connectivity limitations
· Understanding of Cyber security requirements and its application are incorporated in data hosting design solutions
· Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies and processes (secure software development (Application Security), data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management (IAM), network security) within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments
