Technical Product Manager

Description

Our client, a large public sector organisation in Edinburgh, are embarking on an ambitious digital transformation journey and are looking for a Technical Product Manager to set the product vision and define the product backlog for an initial 6 month contract.

You will help to streamline and automate the department and business processes utilising Service Now (SNOW) as their product of choice.

Responsibilities:

· Reviews and recommends where ServiceNow platform fits into the strategic enterprise architecture roadmap
· Engage, discover and interrogate current processes (both internal to IT and wider business), recommending better ways of working through workflow automation
· Architect and deliver an effective, dynamic and fully encompassing CMDB and Asset Management capability
· Architect and deliver a business facing IT Self Service portal and knowledge management database

Requirements:

· Certified ServiceNow implementation expert
· ITSM skills (ITIL qualification preferable)
· Experience of developing software using API integrations, javascript, python, JQuery or jelly scripting
· Competent understanding and experience of integrating ServiceNow with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure) and a complex virtualised environment
· Previous experience of leading a successful ServiceNow rollout and deployment
· Ability to diagram the solution, present and demo solutions
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
· Experience and comfort in public speaking situations
· Comfortable operating in an agile environment using Scrum and/or Kanban
· Hold a Basic Disclosure certificate
