Support Worker – Community Based

If you are a Healthcare Practitioner in Glasgow, have experience in working within a support environment, hold an SVQ2 or above, and are driven by making a real difference in someone’s life, we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for Healthcare Practitioners that thrive in an environment that may be challenging but rewarding. As a support worker empowering people with a range of additional needs, you will be someone that can recognise the strengths and potential of an individual, and takes real pride in providing encouragement and guidance.

This is an interesting and motivating role; no two days will be the same. Your duties could include things such as assisting an individual with buying a gift for a family birthday, advising on household budgeting and bills, providing advice on new clothes or taking a trip to the seaside!

If you are driven by empowering others, have a calm and empathetic character and are an organised person, this could be the step you are looking for.

This position will require medication to be administered when required. Full training will be offered at no cost to you. A driving licence is preferred due to many service users being car owners, but there are opportunities for non- drivers.

With a variety of shifts available including days, nights and sleepovers, we have Healthcare Practitioner vacancies to suit all lifestyles and preferences.

Full time opportunities available for those with SVQ2 (or equivalent).
