ASA are currently looking to recruit an experienced Support Worker in the Kilmarnock area.
We have an excellent long term opportunity which, for the right candidate, will go permanent.
Working 20 hours a week as a Support Worker with adults with acquired brain injury, the core duties initially will include –
Providing emotional support
Working on the skills needed to maintain a tenancy
Making links with relevant services within the local community
This role involves supporting people who are at the beginning of life after a brain injury and as such, will change and grow with the people supported as they find their new ‘normal’
To be considered for this Support Worker role you will need to –
Have at least 6 months experience in supporting adults with additional needs.
Have the ability to build rapport easily
Be able to provide at least 2 easily contactable referees
