Support Worker

Description

We are recruiting for dedicated and passionate Support Workers to work with our respected clients across Aberdeen City and suburbs. With a range of locations and shifts available this role is completely flexible to what works best for you. As well as flexibility, ASA can offer competitive rates of pay from £10.00 per hour with increased weekend and public holiday rates and you will accrue holiday pay from your very first shift. Our online system gives you easy access to all the information you need for shifts and support is available from your consultant 7 days a week.

In the role of Support Worker you will;
· Work with adults with complex support needs in the local community
· Accompany those you are supporting on days out or to access the community
· Make a positive difference to residents and service users
· Encourage and support independence
· Participate in household tasks with those you are supporting; cleaning, cooking, ironing, washing etc.

For this role you should;
· Have a caring and compassionate personality
· Be reliable, patient and understanding
· Be willing to obtain a PVG if not already held
· Be willing to register with SSSC if not already
· Work confidentially individually as well as with others
