The Role:

ASA are currently looking for day shift Support Worker’s to work with vulnerable adults in the North Lanarkshire area.

ASA Recruitment work with the very best providers in North Lanarkshire and the surrounding areas and these services support adults with learning disabilities, mental health issues, autism, and other various complex needs in either residential or supported living settings.

Being a support worker is about encouraging independence, supporting service users to build confidence, self-esteem and most importantly having fun. Your new role will be rewarding and fun, yet somewhat challenging – but the rewards you reap are extremely worthwhile. No two days will be the same!

The type of care provided will be tailored to the needs of individual. Your job will be incredibly varied and rewarding while you help service users improve their quality of life, achieve their goals and make a very positive difference.

We offer part time or full-time hours with the opportunity for the role to turn into permanent positions for the right individual.

What we need from you:

*Experience in administering medication, preparing meals, and planning and partaking in activities
*Experience with providing support and care to adults with learning disabilities.
*Experience with dealing with challenging behaviour.

Essential requirements:

*UK work experience.
*SSSC (within 6 months of working with us)
*10 year work history within CV
*Caring personality.
