Full-time Nurse vacancies within a fantastic family owned care home in Barrhead.

We firmly believe that real individual care can best be provided within a homely setting, with this in mind all residents within the home have the right to live as they wish and your role as a Nurse will be to work in partnership with the residents and their families to allow them to live their life as their heart desires.

Summary of duties:

• Be aware of each Resident’s mental and physical needs
• Responsible for assessing, implementing and evaluating residents care plans in line with company policy
• Lead, supervise a team of care partners
• Consult and supervise all staff in accordance with company supervision policy
• Develop and mentor staff in preparation of progression
• Carry out supervisions and appraisals in line with company policy

Who are looking for?

The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to work in the care environment, be an effective communicator and be passionate about delivering person-centred care in line with the ethos of the home.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1^st Level Registered Nurse
• Clean PVG
• Two satisfactory references

Desirable:

• Evidence of continued development
• Venepuncture
• Catheter Care
• IT skills

In return our client is offering a fantastic benefits package starting at a minimum of £15 per hour (negotiable depending on experience), and will support your development with in-house training and offer progression within the company.

There are a number of shifts available within the rota both days and nights so if our client can be quite flexible with regards to your shifts.
