Newly available opportunity for a Senior Accountant in a small but well established accountancy firm based in the centre of Glasgow. Our client is seeking either a part qualified or newly qualified accountant with recent experience of working in a practice environment. The role offers a competitive salary based on experience and level of qualification.

The responsibilities of the senior accountant include:

• Managing a portfolio of clients from various industry sectors
• Liaising with clients to ensuring the needs of the clients are being met.
• Preparation of year end accounts
• Preparation of management accounts
• Providing business advice when required
• Bookkeeping

Job requirements:

• You will be either a part qualified or a newly qualified accountant
• Previous experience working in a practice environment
• At least 3 year’s experience preparing financial accounts
