Security Guard

ASA Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mobile Security Guard to service various schools and public buildings in East Lothian on a shift rota basis. You will be familiar with securing and locking down multiple buildings, you will also be familiar with security systems and be able to work with remote monitoring via CCTV. You will be required to be a driver for this position and have a basic disclosure which you can apply for at the time of your registration.

Specific Duties:

– Mobile Security guards are required to drive around various sites patrolling and securing the buildings where necessary
– Monitoring the CCTV at all times and dealing with any alarm activation and callouts
– Key holding and building security responsibilities
– Ensure site assignment instructions fully comply with company standards
– You will work on a shift rota basis including weekends and school holidays

To be suitable for this role you must meet all of the following criteria:

– Be smart and well presented at all times
– Have previous experience in the security industry
– Be flexible and reliable to meet the role requirements
– Be able to work without supervision and also as a member of a team
– Be at ease with using technology to submit reports and communicate with support teams, clients and management
– Have a full UK driving license
– Be comfortable dealing with client staff and management and communicating/escalating issues

Documentation that must be provided for the role of Security Guard at Interview:

– Proof of ID – Passport or full birth certificate
– Proof of RTW (if relevant)
– Proof of address (such as a utility bill)
– Proof of National Insurance Number
– Details of 2 References one of which must be able to support your experience as a security guard.
