Are you an experience Medical Secretary looking for your next role in the public sector? Do you have the ability to multitask and adapt to constant changes in a high pressured environment?

ASA are currently working alongside a large scale client in the public sector who are looking for a motivated, knowledgeable individual with a background in administration to join their team.

Medical Secretary main duties:

  • To ensure stakeholder confidentiality standard is adhered to.
  • Support and maintain appropriate and effective office management systems to ensure a smooth flow of information within the department.
  • Organise and co-ordinate meetings events/project or steering group meetings for the team, organising diaries, taking and distributing minutes.
  • Manage communications through a variety of platforms, including multiple email boxes, telephone contact, and meetings.

Medical Secretary Support Role requirements are:

  • Previous experience in a health care environment and basic knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Demonstrate a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication with an emphasis on customer care, including an excellent telephone manner.
  • Advanced organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload.
  • Comfortable working as part of a team.
  • Advanced keyboard skills and familiarity with office systems.
  • Basic Disclosure is also preferred.
