Full time Nurse vacancies in beautiful North Lanarkshire care home.

Recently modernised care home in Kilsyth, North Lanarkshire, all bedrooms enjoy full private facilities as well as stunning views of the local countryside. 48 bedroom care home which provides support for Elderly Residents including Dementia, Physical Disability and Alzheimer’s Disease.

Responsibilities:

To work in partnership with the other members of the care team to provide the high standard of care each resident requires. As a Staff Nurse you will be vital to generating a positive caring atmosphere in which residents can enjoy their time and be respected as individuals. A flexible and open approach to the challenges of the care environment is essential. You will provide leadership in the absence of the manager/deputy manager whilst adhering to national care standards and promoting the reputation of the home.

Previous care home experience is not essential for this post, getting the right ‘fit’ is. You’ll be joining a well-established, friendly team with a great culture. As the care home is small you’ll find that you really get to know the residents and their families and can see the difference the care that you provide can make.

Requirements:

• Valid NMC Pin
• Care home experience would be advantageous but not essential
• Excellent communication skills

Pay rate is based on working 3 shifts per week (negotiable depending on experience).

There are 2 permanent roles on offer one for day and one night shift.

Shifts:

6:45 – 20:00 3 days per week

20:00 – 07:00 2 nights per week

There will be the opportunity to pick up extra shifts if you desire.
