Refuse Bin Loader

Description

Our client in Aberdeenshire require Refuse Bin Loaders for various site locations throughout the region including Banchory, Stonehaven, Inverurie and Mintlaw. The postholder will be required to assist the Refuse Teams in collecting general waste, garden waste and mixed recycling bin collections

Typical working hours are 37 hours per week ( Monday – Friday ) with a starting rate of £9.30 PAYE per hour plus holiday accrual. There is also the option of overtime hours and an enhanced rate of £10.05 per hour after 12 weeks work

Requirements of the postholder:

* To carry out environmental operations to the required service standards as instructed by supervisor / chargehand

* Operate and maintain tools and equipment in accordance with client risk assessments

* Be prepared to work outdoors in all weathers

To be eligible for consideration you must meet the following strict requirements:

* Be eligible to work in the UK

* Have the ability to work within a team environment

* Be physically capable of walking up to 8 miles per day

* Have a valid UK driving license and be able to travel to various locations throughout Aberdeenshire

* Previous experience in a similar role would be preferable
