Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for your next Challenge?

ASA Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a full-time Quantity Surveyor for an initial 18 month contract within the public sector.

This role focuses on domestic redevelopment of existing housing stock across the West of Scotland

The Role:

• Liaising with multi-disciplinary design teams in delivery of key projects in accordance with RIBA plan of work, including internal staff and external consultants.
• Administer various forms of construction contracts.
• Producing estimates, bills of quantity, cost reports, valuations and final accounts.

Successful candidates for the Quantity Surveyor role will need:

• Experience working for a professional quantity surveying/ within a cost management consultancy
• The ability to operate as an individual with or without supervision.
• Professionally qualified Quantity Surveyor
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of conditions of contract for building contracts and contract procurement.
• The ability to Prioritise work for delivery within tight deadlines
