My client is a Glasgow based company who are of the market leader in their field. Due to their success to date, they require a newly qualified Accountant to join their existing finance team.

The role duties will include:

• Reviewing the financial accounts and ensuring that they meet expectations
• Providing senior managers with variance analysis and commentary
• Ongoing process improvement
• Managing complex cashflows
• Dealing with internal and external auditors
• Working with finance and non-finance stakeholders on a regular basis regarding budgets and to assist with operational decisions
• Ensuring that all processes are fully documented and kept up to date in line with guidelines
• Working on projects as and when required

The successful candidate will:

• Be a newly/recently qualified accountant either from a mid-tier firm or industry
• Have strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
• Be able to challenge
• Be hands on and work with stakeholders at all levels
• Have strong systems and data manipulation experience
