Are you a hardworking Qualified Accountant, looking for your next challenge in the public sector?

ASA Recruitment are working with a public sector services team in Glasgow to find an experienced Qualified Accountant who will be comfortable working both in a team and alone with minimal supervision, this role would suit candidates from the Scottish Central Belt.

The Role

• Focusing on the delivery financial projects across a range of departments you’ll need to focus on the execution of month end, interim and year end close
• Looking to constantly develop and improve whilst working to the strict compliance requirements of the public sector
• Working as part of a diverse team of individuals you’ll assist in creating financial projections and presentations for key stake holders
• Trusted to work autonomously when required to analyse and process integral data and returns

Successful candidates will need:

• Experience in any facet of accounting or corporate finance
• To be competent in financial analysis with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• ACCA, ACA AND CIMA qualified
• Experience of working as a Qualified Accountant within the public sector isn’t a necessity but would be an advantage for any applicant
