Project Support Officer

Description

Our public sector client in based in Glasgow are urgently recruiting for a Project Support Officer on an initial 12 month placement (with the option to extend) to provide Project Support for a specific infrastructure project.

The role will consist mainly of remote working though some travel to client sites throughout Scotland may be required

The typical working week will be 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Previous experience required for the role:
· Project management background and/or experience working in a project office environment.
· Experience of co-ordinating all Project Phases including Proposal, Initiation, Design, Implementation, Closure and Review.
· Experience of diary co-ordination and arranging meetings together with all related duties.
· Minute taking skills.
· Ability to manage a diverse workload while ensuring the provision of a high quality service.
· Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines in a changing environment without the requirement for direct supervision.
· Team working experience, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a well-developed organisational ability.
· The ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems.
Training and qualifications:

Educated to degree level in Office Administration or related subject or proven experience gained in a busy office environment
Good knowledge of methodologies and techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects
Formal programme and project management training e.g. PRINCE2
