Project Manager – Parking Interventions

Description

Are you a transport professional looking for your next contract? We are seeking a Parking Interventions Project Manager to oversee the deliverability of parking interventions and service improvements across East Lothian. Based in Haddington, this contract is initially for 24 months.

Main duties:

· Assisting the team manager in the provision of a transportation planning service
· Arranging parking surveys
· Monitoring the effectiveness of town centre parking
· Working with partnering organisations and service providers
· Drafting technical and financial reports

Essential:

· Knowledge of parking, transport planning, road and drainage standards and associated legislation
· Minimum degree qualification in Civil Engineers or related discipline
· Practical experience in a parking related industry and transportation planning
· Working knowledge of DMRB, public sector procurement procedures, roads and traffic legislation and other best practice documentation
· Experience in transport modelling
