ASA Recruitment are looking for an Operations Administrator to work for a large public sector organisation to provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support in their office in Livingston.

Main Duties:

· Provide an excellent telephone response service and offer guidance or direct calls as appropriate
· Pro-actively engage with and provide information to all relevant contacts
· Manage all incoming and outgoing mail
· Prepare statistical information on telephone and email enquiries and distribute to management team
· Collate and distribute committee papers as required
· Maintain effective file management in line with GDPR
· Support the Operations Manager with ad hoc admin projects as well as booking travel and accommodation

Essential Criteria:

· Educated to at least SVQ 4 (SCQF8) level or relevant equivalent experience
· Good level of experience within a similar role including experience in customer relations
· Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
· Previous experience of data entry and administration
· Detail oriented with attention to accuracy
· Confident in managing and completing tasks to deadlines
· Self-motivated
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Well-honed organisational, planning and time management skills
· Awareness of equality and diversity issues, in particular disability
· PC literate including Word, Excel and databases
· Experience in working with vulnerable groups of people would be advantageous

This role is initially a 6 month contract with the potential to extend. Paying £10.05 – £11.17 per hour depending on experience.
