ASA Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our healthcare public sector client. A great opportunity for a permanent Staff Nurse working closely with ageing and elderly individuals has arisen within the town of Falkirk. As a staff nurse you will be working in of the most modern and well equipped with recent build-in services to provide the very highest standard of accommodation and facilities for patients, visitors and staff. The fantastic central location has many transport links with buses operating every 10 minutes throughout the day from Falkirk to various locations such as Stirling, Stenhousemuir, Glasgow and Dunfermline.

As a registered general nurse (RGN), you will be required to:

o Take full responsibility for the delivery of high standards of patient care.
o Measure and record vital signs of patients ability’s and needs.
o Administering medication.
o Full awareness at all times for signs of elder abuse.
o Exercising patients.
o Assisting patients with their daily needs/personal hygiene, such as washing, dressing and using the bathroom.

To be successful for the role of a RGN you will have:

o Worked within a similar role in the NHS for a minimum of 6 months either recently or past experience.
o The ability to demonstrate the skills needed to deliver a high standard of level of clinical support to a patient group.
o Strong emotional resilience to remain cheerful and compassionate during difficult times.
o Strong communication skills in order to encourage patients and also their family members.
o Positive attitude towards patient’s health and ability related issues.
