Management Accountant

Description

ASA recruitment are working in partnership with a highly successful engineering company who are looking to strengthen their existing team by adding a Qualified Management Accountant. Based near Glasgow, the Management Accountant will report directly to the Financial Controller and play an important role in the delivery of key financial reports to the board.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• Preparation of management accounts including full balance sheet, profit and loss and variance analysis
• Preparation of multiple sets of project accounts
• Monthly reporting on projects
• Co-ordination of project meetings
• Monitoring of project costs
• Monthly revenue reporting
• Upkeep of fixed asset register
• Working closely with finance and non-finance stakeholders

The successful candidate will:

• Ideally be a qualified accountant
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have strong systems experience and have the ability to manipulate data
• Be confident in presenting financial data to non-finance staff
• Be a self-starter with good time management skills
• Be available for an immediate start
