Maintenance Supervisor

Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to work for leading facilities management Company. The company is growing rapidly, and we are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join the team based on a static site on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The successful candidate will form part of a small team, supervising the day to day operations, ensuring the completion of building maintenance, reactive and quoted works and the management on sub-contractors.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Manage a team of multi skilled engineers
• Build and maintain relationships with the client and the engineering team
• Provide high quality complaint technical services on the contract
• Attend and conduct performance reviews
• Work within agreed budgets and service requirements
• Monitor and report on the quality and financial performance of the contract
• Continually improve service deliver to the client
• Form part of the onsite on call rota

Qualifications and skills

• Previously worked for a facilities management company in an operational supervisory position
• Excellent knowledge of the operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical services is essential
• FM, commercial maintenance, servicing and repairs management and delivery experience
• Experience of working on a critical site
• Knowledge of HV systems is beneficial
• The candidate must have the ability to read and understand Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Knowledge of the latest maintenance management requirements
• C&G / NVQ in electrical discipline
• Full driving licence
