Kitchen Porter

Description

Due to ASA Recruitment close collaboration with the public and private sectors we are now looking for experienced Kitchen Porters to cover the large demand of staff in different Schools, Care Homes and Contract Catering Units within the Edinburgh Area.

As part of the ASA Catering team our Kitchen Porters are responsible for:

– Demonstrating a good knowledge of food hygiene practices.
– Assist the chef with basic meal preparation tasks.
– Supporting the kitchen team loading and unloading the dishwasher.
– Make sure appliances, surfaces, floors and walls are clean.

To be eligible for this vacancy you will need to have 6 months experience on a similar role. As well as willingness to apply for a PVG disclosure or to undergo an update if you are interested on the Schools and Care Homes positions.
