Are you an experienced JIRA Specialist looking to take on a contract opportunity within a prestigious large scale project in the public sector?

• ASA are looking for a JIRA Specialist to join the public sector in Glasgow. This contract opportunity would be perfect for an individual comfortable executing and completing projects according to strict deadlines with a vast knowledge of JIRA Software

The Specialist Role:

• Creation of a best practice guide for Scrum Masters and Project Managers
• Ensure that all JIRA projects are configured correctly in order to enable the reporting suites and dashboards to work effectively, providing key Management Info to Project Management Office (PMO) and elsewhere
• Assess the potential for JIRA Portfolio to support the PMO and Planning functions
• Standardise our approach to Dashboards
• Improve how our technical workflow, tooling, add-ons are employed
• Plan and deliver a regular JIRA “Drop-in Support Clinic” rotating weekly between Glasgow and Edinburgh for Scrum Masters, Project Managers and Product Owners
• Investigate potential for a “Triage Widget” that could greatly improve backlog prioritisation for Product Owners, especially when receiving

Successful candidates for the Specialist role will require:

• Deep knowledge of JIRA Software and Confluence
• Thorough understanding of Agile methodologies
• Ability to quickly grasp a complex Atlassian setup

This is a contract position that falls inside of IR35
