IT Developer

Description

Are you a self-starting Software Developer, with a keen eye for detail? Are you looking to take your .NET and applications development experience to the next level? After a period of growth, we are working with an established company based in Glasgow city centre to add a Software Developer to their existing team.

What will you be doing?

· Taking part in requirements analysis and developing use cases into functional applications
· Collaborating with CIO, IT and internal teams to produce software design and architecture
· Writing clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
· Deploying and testing applications and systems
· Revising, updating, refactoring and debugging code
· Improving existing software
· Developing documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
· Maintaining and developing legacy Solcase/SOS applications
· Integrating/developing Microsoft Office 365 suite, workflow and document management systems using Visual Studio and product APIs
· Developing practice group productivity applications principally using Case Management and/or Workflow technology including document automation

What do you need to have?

· Experience in .NET Development or Applications Development
· Experience working on your own or as part of a small team
· Working knowledge of case tools would be useful but not essential. E.g. Solcase/Visual Files
What are the requirements?
· Good knowledge of the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)
· Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3
· Familiar with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
· Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
· Degree in a relevant subject
