ICT Desktop Technician

Are you an experienced Desktop Technician looking to take on your next challenge within the public sector?

ASA are currently seeking an experienced Desktop Technician to support a growing, proactive team in the West of Scotland.

The Desktop Technician Role:

• The first point of contact for all support calls, incidents and service requests.
• Undertaking account management tasks e.g. resetting passwords and unlocking, creating and deleting accounts.
• Assisting in the creating of user friendly documentation.
• Conducting diagnosis and troubleshooting of any incidents, problems and service requests.
• Undertake hardware and software install ensuring that all documented procedures are adhered to.
• To assist in major technology roll-outs.

Successful candidates for the Desktop Technician role will need:

• A strong ability to communicate and present to an array of different stakeholders.
• Previous experience of working in a service desk/field technician capacity.
• Strong previous experience of troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Ability to work autonomously to tight deadlines.
• A capacity to work across various operating systems.
