Description

Our public sector, education and training client is seeking a Lead Human Resources Business Partner to provide a range of generic HR services across their organisation. The HR Business Partner will be required to support recruitment, on-boarding and employee relations; managing projects and/of programmes in a team leader role.

The successful HR Business Partner can be flexibly located in either Edinburgh or Glasgow; however, there will be occasions where they will be required to visit the Head Office in Edinburgh. They will also be accountable for the establishment control aspects of HR to ensure data accuracy.

Employee Relations cases will be managed by the HR Professional, in particular they will be tasked to lead on Absence Management cases e.g. Grievance and Disciplinary and to support the HR Team with complex query resolutions, complaints which are regularly sensitive in nature.

The appointed HR Business Partner based in either our clients Glasgow or Edinburgh off is requested to have visibility and be able to manage an ambitious HR Team. They are looking for an individual who is confident, aspirational and service focussed.

The successful HR Business Partner will also actively contribute to a culture of high performance, education and professional development to encourage a positive environment where colleagues feel enthused to work. You will have a nurturing approach to your management style as the organisations looks to develop a greater emphasis on principles and morale. With this in mind, the HR Business Partner will have the capacity to influence and grow strong working relationships at all levels across the organisation.

To be considered for the position of Lead Human Resources Business Partner, you must have:

• Be a member of the CIPD
• Have previous experience working in a similar Human Resources position
• Willing to travel for work
• Available to work ASAP
