HR Adviser

Are you an experienced HR Adviser with specialist knowledge of employee relations and managing complex cases?

ASA are looking for an HR Adviser to work for one of our public sector clients in central Edinburgh for an initial 6 month contract.

Responsibilities:

· Resolve complex employee relations cases
· Support managers and senior leaders by providing expert HR advice on a range of issues
· Liaise with senior managers to ensure all cases and issues are being managed effectively
· Support colleagues in HR team
· Liaise with trade unions
· Support the continuous improvement of HR policies and processes
· Promote wellbeing in the workplace
· Manage various HR project work

Requirements:

· Experience in complex case management including dismissal
· A background of providing advice and guidance to managers to resolve complex people management issues
· Strong understanding of employment legislation
· The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships
· Associate membership of CIPD
· Public sector experience
