Do you have a strong administrative background and an interest in HR?

ASA Recruitment are currently recruiting for an HR Administrator to join a fast paced, public sector organisation in Edinburgh on a 12 month contract to start ASAP.

You will perform a variety of HR related administrative tasks by mainly supporting the HR department with recruitment however there are also opportunities to support the generalist HR team updating the database and processing employee requests.

Main Duties will include:

· Prepare and monitor new employee performance documentation during probationary period to ensure documents are completed on time and correspondence issued within due dates
· Carry out timely and efficient administration service covering new employees
· Deal with all procedures and processes associated with leavers
· Update various HR systems and documents

Requirements:

· Experience of working within a similar HR role
· Excellent organisation skills along with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
· Experience of working with a recruitment or HR team
· Good communication skills both in person and on the phone
· MS Office experience
· Public sector experience would be an advantage
