ASA Recruitment are working with a large scale client who is currently recruiting for a graphic designer to join their team which can be based in the Scottish central belt.

Your main duties would be:

• To prepare digital ready artwork, including: typesetting, colour correction and manipulation of high-resolution digital imagery for print and post-production of visual and audio media to ensure that everything is completed to the highest standard.
• To create original quality design concepts as appropriate to the design brief, considering all visual elements are suited for target audience.
• To collaborate with managers in on-going administration of print/web and multimedia projects by attending and advising at pre-production, design development, pre-testing and debriefing meetings, media and print production.
• To retouch and manipulate images/documents for inclusion in publications to ensure they meet required design and legislative standards, including the removal of personal identifying information across all media.
• To originate effective and appropriate design solutions for a range of National Network websites and other related media.

Graphic Designer Requirements:

• Educated to degree level in Graphic Design.
• A minimum of 3 year’s experience in graphic design in a similar illustration environment, also experience of general publication management is desired.
• Effective in time management and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail, strong decision making skills with an ability to respond quickly to adverse feedback from customers.
• Enthusiastic approach and capable of maintaining professional working relationships with senior staff.
• Possess a comprehensive and practical experience of desktop design and layout using the latest graphical software packages.
