Front End Architect

Description

ASA are currently seeking a Front End Architect to take the lead across a range of different projects within a large scale public sector body based in the Scottish Central belt.

This is an interim contract role and falls outside of IR35

The Front End Architect Role:

• Working to create and maintain a shared implementation of the clients design language to encourage and enable teams to deliver faster
• Establishing an code style for all teams to adhere to across the organisation
• Understanding the cascade, inheritance and semantics of the various projects whilst being able to choose the best style of CSS organisation for the project and not just implementing what’s been done previously
• Working closely with the user experience and front end group to provide feedback on proposed solutions and ensure they are the best fit for the organisation whilst proposing new ideas and promoting new technologies which can be used practically
• Ensure that all front end code authored is web standards compliant, accessible and meets public sector standards

Successful candidates for the Front End Architect role will need:

• To be an analytical problem solver with the ability to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders
• Extensive working experience of writing high quality front end code
• Experience working within and leading an Agile team
• Cross front end framework experience
• Experience of similar roles in the Public sector would be advantageous
