Financial Controller

The role is to ensure that the business results are reviewed, analysed and reported in an accurate and timely manner and importantly, the processes and practices put in place are continuously and consistently followed.

You will need to be competent at producing timely and accurate consolidation and effective reporting of financial results, KPIs, CAPEX etc. on a monthly and quarterly basis, as well as ad-hoc reporting to meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to financial goals and strategies whilst preparing, updating and presenting budgets and financial plans
• Produce monthly financial report including 3 months rolling forecast
• Responsible for business measures as: Inventory, Cash Flow, DSO, including outstanding payments from customers.
• Project management of business improvement initiatives e.g. budget process, AFE/utilization/Capex process, DSO/Unbilled reporting, business intelligence, inventory, etc.
• Financial analysis for customer tenders and contracts

What you need

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting.
• 5-10 year of experience, preferably partly as auditor and in the oil & gas industry
• Excellent skills in Excel, ERP systems and foreign branch accounting experience, understanding of PE issues and tax regimes
• Inventory reconciliation – physical vs financial
• Good sense of order and high degree of accuracy
