Are you a recently qualified Accountant who is looking to move into industry? ASA have an excellent opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a global company based in Glasgow city centre.

Our client is a multi-billion turnover organisation who have experienced a period of significant growth and are looking to strengthen their Financial Accounting team in the Glasgow office by recruiting a newly qualified Financial Accountant.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

• Preparing financial and statutory accounts
• Assisting with monthly and quarterly board packs
• Producing supporting schedules/balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing annual budgets and forecasts

The ideal candidate for this Financial Accountant position:

• Will be a recently qualified accountant looking for their first or second move
• Have an understanding of FRS 102 and US GAAP
• Have good systems and excel skills
