Fabric Joiner

Description

ASA are recruiting for an experienced Fabric Joiner to join their rapidly growing team in Edinburgh. This role is a mobile position covering Edinburgh and Lothian. In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of planned, reactive, repair and installation fabric joinery work on their client’s premises.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Carry out repairs to a variety of building services and demonstrate their competence to multi-skill outside their core trade to include minor plumbing works, roof works, building work, possible grounds work and drainage related tasks
• Complete refurbishment planned and reactive
• Use hand-held technology within allocated timescales
• Form part of the team
• Work within SLAs
• Supervision of sub-contractors
• Complete general facilities management duties across the client’s portfolio

Qualifications and skills:

• A time served Joiner with City & Guilds or SVQ
• Previous experience in dealing with all types of Fabric maintenance, service and maintenance work within the service sector
• Happy to work in a client facing environment
• Strong customer service focus
• Good health and safety awareness and knowledge
• Effective communicator
• Full UK driving licence
