Domestic Assistant

We are currently recruiting for experienced Domestic Assistants to clean local authority schools throughout Fife in Glenrothes, Cupar, St.andrews and Buckhaven areas of Fife. Part Time and Full time hours available
Key responsibilities of a Domestic Assistant:
· Clean and disinfect all work surfaces, floors and paintwork in the designated areas which may include toilets, shower areas, cabinets, internal glass, curtains, blinds and telephones
· Ensure the cleaning of all areas and departments are of the highest standard
· Use appropriate powered equipment and approved cleaning agents
· Sanitise frequently used areas such as door handles and communal toilets
· Sweeping and mopping floors, emptying litter bins and dusting
· Ensuring you adhere to Health & Safety legislation and procedures at all times in line with COVID-19 regulations
· Ability to provide a regular and effective service

Domestic Assistant requirements:
· Must have a minimum of 6 months UK based cleaning experience
· Existing PVG member for Children, or a willingness to join PVG Scheme
· Have knowledge and awareness of COSHH Regulations
· Knowledge of Health And Safety and Manual Handling awareness
· Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
· Excellent communication and able to follow instructions
