Digital Learning Designer

Are you an experienced Learning Designer looking for a new contract in Edinburgh?

Our client, a large public sector organisation, is seeking an experienced Learning Designer to play a pivotal role in ensuring our digital education and learning programmes, products and services are of a high quality and appropriate for online and blended delivery.

This contract is for 3 days per week and expected to go on until October 2019.

Responsibilities

· Design and develop high quality online and blended learning activities and materials
· Deliver digital learning content for portfolio of professional programmes and education and learning resources and for our curriculum of education for staff
· Lead on the learning design process and development of online materials and modules by providing consultancy and advice to the Head of Digital Education and in-house subject matter experts and developing pedagogically sound solutions from a digital learning perspective
· Develop digital learning content for the following deliverables:

– Windows 10 training package
– Leadership portal
– SCTS Induction and Onboarding Programme
– Online ELU brand toolkit and identify standards hub
– Develop infographics and marcoms materials for our courses
– Develop ELU and Digital Education Newsletter template

Requirements:

· Experience of working with Learning Management Systems (Totara/Moodle)
· Experienced Instructional Designer with demonstrable experience of using authoring tools and digital learning design tools and technologies to develop high quality digital educational learning resources and materials and products
· Experience of developing compelling learning content for LMS/VLEs
· A Basic Disclosure certificate
