Development Officer – Creativity

Description

ASA Recruitment’s Public Sector client is looking for a Creativity Development Officer to join them for an initial 10 month contract. As the development officer you will play a key role in the COVID-19 recovery phase, promoting and embedding creativity across education. You will be contributing to the implementation of a Learning Plan and a culture strategy for Scotland.

As you the successful postholder you will:
· Engage with schools and practitioners to prepare teacher learning and skill development for the different context
· Advise schools on curricular and changes for learning and practice
· Support collaborative and innovative practice by working with external stakeholders
· Contribute to the Creative learning Plan and National Creative Learning Network
· Support the design, planning and delivery of funded projects in collaboration with a range of stakeholders and partners
· Communicate and promote key messages and resources
· Assess grant applications and participate in moderation panels as required

Requirements:
· Strong creative, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to solve problems, innovate and create informative and engaging communications
· Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues within a creative learning environment
· Excellent analytical skills, being able to demonstrate impact by drawing on a range of evidence including learner voice, event feedback, and written reports
· Ability to effectively manage competing priorities such as regional and national tasks
· Valid Basic Disclosure Scotland Certificate
