ASA are delighted to be working alongside a fantastic city centre based organisation looking to bring an experienced Credit Controller into their tight knit team. The position offers a great opportunity for someone with credit control exposure to take on a high volume, fast paced role which will provide varied opportunities and a great challenge to a motivated individual. Our client is a large organisation with global pull and a prestigious history, offering a great package for a focused and experienced candidate looking to make the step into an enthralling opportunity.

The Role:
– Managing multiple high volume ledges
– Working to timescales in order to meet clear targets
– Prioritising workloads effectively
– Collecting outstanding debt by telephone, email, face to face
– Producing aged debt reports
– Delivering a customer focussed, pro-active service
– Actively managing customers to optimise collections
– Ensuring weekly reminder letters are sent and collate figures for weekly meetings
– Ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained at all times
– Following a number of month end procedures
– Working alongside other finance teams in order to effectively resolve queries

The candidate:
– A strong background in a finance procedures focused role, specifically credit control
– The ability to meet deadlines by prioritising multiple workloads in an effective manner
– Excellent attention to detail
– Well-developed Microsoft Excel Skills
– Ability to use initiative and work pro-actively with minimal supervision
– A highly organised individual
– Proven ability to work as part of a team

This is a busy and challenging role which will be suitable for someone with a background in credit control who can organise their own workload in a productive way. While the role requires a specific individual the benefits on offer are second to none. Flexible working hours, a fantastic holiday entitlement and an exceptional pension scheme are just some of the perks on offer. A salary between £19,000 and £22,000 is also on offer based on experience.
