Contracts Officer

ASA Recruitment are looking for a Contracts Officer for our Public Sector client. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contract Administrator looking for their temporary assignment, located in Inverness.

Your new role will be to ensure that all engineering related service contracts and other maintenance works are carried out safely and effectively, also to assist with the reporting of performance of service contracts. You will also assist with the development of standards for the specification, design and management of engineering services.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and continually improving property assets and ensuring client is complaint with all engineering statutory obligations.
• Development, implementation, review and update of all engineering policies and procedures.
• Prepare and deliver service contracts and minor works for engineering installations.
• Assisting with the preparation of specifications, cost reports, tender reports and CAD drawings for engineering services.
• Carry out all other duties of a Contract Administrator in regards to the delivery of engineering maintenance contracts.

Requirements:

• HNC in a finance or business related discipline.
• Relevant experience in contract administration of engineering maintenance contracts and minor works.
• Knowledge of property related Engineering legislation.
• Ability to administrate contracts on site.
• Able to liaise with clients, residents and Project Team members.
