Are you a Communications Officer looking for a new opportunity?

Our Public Sector client is looking for an Internal Communications Officer to join a multi-disciplinary team to provide first class internal communications and engagement across the organisation. While working with various business areas, you will develop engagement plans and activities that will be clear, concise and accessible to all colleagues.

As the Communications Officer you will be responsible for:
· Delivering essential part of the Internal Communications Strategy
· Creating presentations for the Executive Management Team to communicate vital business activity
· Providing an editing and writing service for all communications
· Working with HR to develop plans for effectively communicating change and continuously identifying opportunities to support Organisational Development activities by delivering simple messages or complex information as required
· Developing communications and engagement for projects teams
· Continuously improving delivery, workflow and execution of campaign events

Essential Requirements:
· Educated to degree level within related field of communications, engagement, or marketing, and/or have relevant experience of working within a communications, engagement or marketing environment
· Experience of working in internal communications roles
· Experience of managing and delivering multi-channel internal communications and staff engagement activities to a variety of internal stakeholders
· Experience of communicating complex change to all levels of an organisation, tailoring the message to suit the target audience need

Desirable Experience
· Experience of working in an agile project management environment
· Experience of hosting online events using tools such as Go To Webinar
· Experience of MS teams and SharePoint
